Description of hotel: Park Hotel Cala di Lepre & SPA in Northern Sardinia

Park Hotel Cala di Lepre is a very nice hotel on the Costa Esmaralda in north-eastern Sardinia. In this part of Sardinia you will find some of Europe's finest beaches. The hotel is located outside the small village of Palau, from where you can easily take a taxi boat or rented boat out to the beautiful archipelago outside the coast. When you stay at this hotel, we recommend that you book Half Board as the food here is amazing. There are two different restaurants to choose from here. One serves a good and varied buffet and the other has an a la carte menu (to be pre-booked). By the pool area there is a bar that serves drinks, light lunches and ice cream. There is also a cozy piano bar by the main building. In the evenings there are some entertainment for the little ones at the small amphitheater and a mini club is available during the day for children aged 3-14 years. In the area you can play tennis, archery, volleyball etc. There is a nice SPA here, a so-called Centro Benessere (for a fee) with, among other things, both hot and cold pools, sauna and Turkish bath. It is also possible to book various treatments on site.

All the rooms are located in smaller one-story houses that are spread over a larger area. As the rooms are located at different distances from the sea, they have been divided into two categories. Parco is between 400-600 m from the sea and Golfo between 200-400 m. It is only about 3 km to the small town of Palau. Here there is a harbor as well as some shops, bars and restaurants. For a fee, you can take a transfer to Palau (not Saturdays). WiFi is free and is available not only in the rooms but also at the pool, reception and in the Le Terrazze area.

From here you can easily discover northern Sardinia. At the hotel you can book boat trips out to the archipelago at La Maddalena and to Corsica. The staff is happy to help with other excursions that you can do on your own by car. We recommend taking the car to the Beach "La Spiaggia dei principe" in combination with a visit to the famous Portocervo. Castelsardo is another village in Northern Sarinia that is well worth a visit. The beaches at the sister hotel Valle dell´Erica are very nice and should not be missed.
